The Castello di Ussel opens extraordinarily to the public with guided tours and hosts the exhibition 'Segni di pietra. Torri, castelli e residenze della Valle d'Aosta' by artist Francesco Corni. Also planned are side events such as a theatrical presentation, a nature guide tour, and a historical costume show.

Exhibition 'Le lunette del Castello' and event series 'Plaisirs de Culture'
Issogne (AO)
The Municipal Library of Issogne organizes for summer 2026 the exhibition 'Le lunette del Castello', displaying 35 mannequins with historical costumes reproduced based on the frescoes of the Castello di Issogne, owned by the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley. The exhibition can be visited at the Oratorio il Melograno from July 22 to September 7, 2026, and will be reopened on the occasion of the 'Plaisirs de Culture' event series.
Exhibition Franco Perrotti – Dissuader. The flight of the dove from Noah's ark to anthropized skies

The Waldensian Evangelical Church of Courmayeur hosts the solo exhibition of Franco Perrotti, artist and designer, titled "Dissuader. The flight of the dove from Noah's ark to anthropized skies". The exhibition addresses the theme of the transformation of the sky into a controlled space, crossed by surveillance, interdiction, conflict and technological control systems of flight. The event is part of the widespread project "Sotto il cielo di stelle", curated by Fortunato D'Amico, which combines art, landscape and reflection on the sky as a shared cultural heritage. The opening takes place on July 23, 2026 with a conference and a visit in the presence of the artist and the curator.
Concorso 'Racines de Papier' - Little Free Libraries
Pollein (AO)
The Municipality of Pollein launches the 'Racines de Papier' competition, open to all residents, to design and build 'little free libraries' using reclaimed materials linked to the tradition and ancient crafts of the Aosta Valley. The initiative aims to promote shared reading and pass on the historical memory of the territory through creative reuse. Registrations must be submitted by July 30, 2026, and the works must be completed and installed by November 30 of the same year. Once placed in one of the hamlets or public spaces of the municipality, each little library will become part of the municipal heritage, and its creator will be named 'Godfather of the Little Library'. The award ceremony will take place in conjunction with the 'Puette' delivery ceremony for newborns, thus combining the symbolic value of giving a book to the community from early childhood.

6th photo contest 'Oyace in un click d'estate' to enhance the municipal area. Photos must be taken in Oyace during the summer and submitted between August 1 and September 5, 2026. Online voting takes place from September 6 to 13, 2026.
