Concorso 'Racines de Papier' - Little Free Libraries

The Municipality of Pollein launches the 'Racines de Papier' competition, open to all residents, to design and build 'little free libraries' using reclaimed materials linked to the tradition and ancient crafts of the Aosta Valley. The initiative aims to promote shared reading and pass on the historical memory of the territory through creative reuse. Registrations must be submitted by July 30, 2026, and the works must be completed and installed by November 30 of the same year. Once placed in one of the hamlets or public spaces of the municipality, each little library will become part of the municipal heritage, and its creator will be named 'Godfather of the Little Library'. The award ceremony will take place in conjunction with the 'Puette' delivery ceremony for newborns, thus combining the symbolic value of giving a book to the community from early childhood.

5° Campeggio Regionale Gruppi Giovanili Vigili del Fuoco Volontari

From 27 to 30 August 2026, the 5th Regional Camp of the Youth Groups of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the Aosta Valley will take place in Pollein. The event is an opportunity for training and socializing for young volunteers, with outdoor activities and moments of sharing. The area involved is the event parking lot (ex Area Manzi), where the camping spaces will be set up.

Visite guidate alla Riserva Naturale Côte de Gargantua e Maison Gargantua

Gressan (AO)

The Côte de Gargantua Nature Reserve is a protected area that preserves an imposing moraine ridge, a testament to the ancient glacier that shaped the valley. Guided tours lead to the discovery of this unique environment, among woods, meadows and rocky outcrops that tell the geological history of the territory. Completing the route, the Maison Gargantua, an ancient rural house in the Moline hamlet transformed into an ethnographic museum. Inside, objects of peasant life, tools and furnishings are displayed, restoring the atmosphere of the rural civilization of Gressan. The tours, led by qualified mountain guides, are designed for everyone and present no technical difficulties. An opportunity to get to know the natural heritage and local traditions up close, in an initiative that runs from August 2026 to June 2027.

Giornata senza barriere – Giornata dello sport inclusivo

Il Comitato Italiano Paralimpico Valle d'Aosta organizza la "Giornata senza barriere – Giornata dello sport inclusivo" a Gressan. L'evento si svolge giovedì 3 settembre 2026 (con recupero venerdì 4 settembre in caso di maltempo) presso l'Area Verde in località Les Iles, che comprende le aree A, B, C e la parete di arrampicata. La manifestazione è dedicata allo sport inclusivo, aperta a tutti e senza barriere.

Corso di ginnastica per over 60 – Autunno/Inverno 2026

L'Amministrazione comunale di Gressan, in collaborazione con un'istruttrice, organizza un corso di ginnastica dedicato agli over 60. Gli incontri si tengono il mercoledì dalle 17:30 alle 18:30, per 10 lezioni a partire dal 30 settembre 2026. Il corso è riservato ai residenti del Comune di Gressan, con un massimo di 30 partecipanti. Le iscrizioni chiudono il 25 settembre 2026.

Atelier BoiSculpture – Corso di scultura su legno 2026/2027

The Municipality of Gressan organizes a wood sculpture course taught by Master Craftsman Dario Berlier, at the Maison Gargantua premises. The course takes place on Friday evenings from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, from October 2026 to March 2027, for a total of 50 hours. It is reserved for residents of the Aosta Valley with a minimum age of 14, with a maximum of 15 participants. Registrations close on September 30, 2026.
