The exhibition, part of the Riverberi festival program, presents the work behind the documentary short film "Prima dell'Aurora" by director Chiara Zaja, dedicated to the figure of Aurora Vullerimaz, the Valdostan partisan courier known as Lola. Through images, testimonies and animated inserts, the film reconstructs the story of a woman of whom very few traces remain. On display are the portrait of Lola created by Barbara Tutino and the original boards by Cristiano Carillo, revealing the different stages of the animation creative process. An opportunity to discover how drawing and cinema can give voice back to a protagonist of the Resistance.
